I haven't updated in a while, BUT I've been on vacation in Massachusetts visiting my boyfriend and his family! And who in their right mind spends time updating their blog instead of hanging out with these beauties?
And if you can believe it, these kiddos weren't even the best part of my trip. On New Years Eve, Zak got a phone call from the studio he's been freelancing for. They offered him a full-time job! I'm so proud. He's so talented. And handsome.
Since then, Zak has visited New York to apartment hunt aaaaaaand.... TODAY HE PUT A DEPOSIT DOWN FOR A PLACE IN GREENWICH VILLAGE! So grown up. Yes, this means I will be considering a move to the East. I've lived in the midwest all of my life, but the big city may be calling my name loud enough that I have to follow. It would surely be an adventure. I love it out East. There's so much beauty. In fact, you need not go farther than Zak's backyard to find it.
And that's not to mention the human beauties I was spending all my time with :)
I'd like to end this post with a song that has been stuck in my head for days and a completely unrelated quote. I guess I'll start with the quote because, well, it's too sour to end my blog post with!
Keep in mind that my posting this quote does not necessarily mean I align with it.But it got my gears-a-grindin'.
"Among the rich you will never find a really generous man even by accident. They may give their money away, but they will never give themselves away; they are egotistic, secretive, dry as old bones. To be smart enough to get all that money you must be dull enough to want it." -A Miscellany of Men, G.K. Chesterton
Let that marinade a minute. And let me know what you think. Or don't. And instead, listen to this great song!

boy i liked that song.
